"I am a retired board-certified Family Physician who has lived happily at Colony Village, an Independent Living Facility in Longview, Texas. When I moved to CV, I was instantly enamored with it. The other residents here are my new family and I have made several good friends here. In fact, I eat breakfast and lunch and supper with them. Next, the food at CV is restaurant quality and my health has improved by eating such nutritious and delicious meals! Next the staff at CV is top notch, from the General Manager, who is both capable and congenial, to Carrie, the very nice and good Sales Manager. Next the kitchen and housekeeping staff are absolutely essential for our daily lives and they seem like members of our collective CV family! Next we have many activities, such as Bingo (daily except Sundays), dominos, dairy except Sundays. Next we go to doctors appointments in a CV bus  Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thursdays. We can do our laundry in no cost washing machines and dryers. We have a movie theater that shows a movie at 6 p.m. daily. Plus we have live entertainment twice a month."

"My mother became a resident of colonial village in August of 23. From day 1 when asking about the facility Ms Carrie was a dream she's the leasing agent there. She showed me multiple units asked me questions that gave her insights to my mother's needs and abilities. Rooms are spacious super quiet all the staff is really friendly. Mr Henery the general Manger and the assistant manager couldn't be more helpful super nice always pleasant. The residents are super sweet, tons of things always going on. Ms Lala the lady that takes care of the 3rd floor is so sweet and cheerful every rime you see her. If your looking for a great place, clean.
